After the Turks and Caicos Islands, landing in Luperon is fantastic : friendly people, life everywhere, affordable prices, endless inland adventures, well, Luperon might capture a cruiser forever - and did a lot of time, as a several expatriated living there arrived once on a boat to never leave again.

Customs and immigration are a bit confusing, a will take half a day to complete, but it is a small price to pay to then enjoy what is trully one of the most welcoming and beautiful part of the world.
